武小波何许人也,顶星科技的创始人之一,顶星一直从事电脑周边设备的之作,在IT界还算有点声音。最近顶星进入人们的视野是因为,他提出要做中国的索尼和三星,要自主研发生产笔记本电脑。就为这事,还惹得一些IT媒体的火热关注,当然也有很多的质疑声。这也很正常,电脑这行当就是个拼装工业,芯片,显卡,内存什么的都是人家的,留给中国人做原创梦的空间不大。要说台式机的大机箱和笔记本的小盒子有区别,地球都相信,但又说有很大区别的话,那地球人就都不信了。
顶多是一级技工和二级技工的区别,说到受到索尼和三星创业阶段的刺激和启发,那是武小波很没参透品牌的含义。武小波提到索尼和三星创业阶段,产品质量不过关,品牌不响,在国际市场备受歧视,因而产生了变革的冲动,之后就成了国际名牌了。这个故事不新鲜,新鲜的事怎么去理解故事的内涵。
“为什么日本人、韩国人能做到的,咱们中国人就做不到?”,“中国人连神五都能造出来......",“2010年实现营业额100亿元人民币,......,如果顶星的产品能占其中10%的话,那就是240万台,每台按5000元算得话,就超过100亿元了。”这些话不是俺说的,是武小波说的。
为什么说他没参透品牌的含义呢?索尼的笔记本,据我说之,那可都是在台湾生产的,简单的装配,索尼的不干,人家出设计,软件整合,最关键的是索尼是在输出品牌,输出索尼品牌内涵的高科技,娱乐元素。三星卖的是DIGITAL WORLD,数字生活无所不在,没有人关心他是不是在自家后院倒腾出来得产品,还是台湾人帮他敲出来的。

Virutal Brand Prolocutor
Two typical cases came into my sight.One is Sammy for San Miguel Light beer, the other is Kehuer for lactobacillus drink.They are created by two notable 4A ad. agencies,Ogivy & Mather and Leo Burnett respectively.
Both of them share their common points.The artificial virtual prolocutors are cute,naughty pranksters.They always mischief others,they act aimlessly,they hate bland and boring things,they think home is a boring place,they talk disorganized.On examing those points,I found it is really consisit with characteritics of youngsters aged between 15 and 25.A prolocutor shall represent the benifit of what they advocated for.They made it this time.
In branding process,when we finally dig out the core value of a brand after a serises of interrogating brand problems,the task remained is to disseminate the brand''s image,develop different channels to leverage in the marketplace.The brand image must be in tone with the core value,must be consist with characteristics of the target audienc. It is not easy,a big job ahead.
We make that through TVCF,leaflets and events,all the ad campaigns bear the image adhear to its core value and customers'' belief.Traditional leverages are indirect,like a pump onto a sponge.
Books I read this month
We pay our labor even our life for the hierachy''non-invasion,it is not a protect.Lurking rules is overwhelming and omnipresent in our society.We not only notice that but be hurt by it somewhat.It is the core point.
The rationality of the lurking rules make me less angry for facts listed in "Investigation",tragedies derived from the transgressing of the boundary of the underlying rules. To solve the problem,we need find another balance.
It is really interesting to look through things from that point of view,the author even explained Maoism by using bloody award methodology.Frankly,I think it is a bit elusive.
These two years, I found I have strong interest in History and I tried to read more history books."Discovery Journey" series of CCTV9 and "Demiurge in Orient" inspire me to look through China history I learnt before.
